Farmers in Pulwama need justice: lalit k kaul

Farmers in Pulwama need justice.                                                             Lalit k kaul The farmers who have been tilling the land in question for nearly 54 years, when the govt of the day provided them irrigation facilities to till the land, are now being asked to vacate because it's to be alloted to CRPF. While security concerns in militancy affected areas are beyond debate, snatching of the livelihoods of people is as much unjust beyond debate. Few points are in order, as per the law of the Indizan Union: 1. Inam land is a land gifted by the ruler/govt to the subjects. The land cannot be sold by those whom it was alloted. 2. Since it is under possession for 54 years with them , they are naturalized owners. 3. Since agriculture is being done even today, it cannot be converted to non agricultural land. 4. For conversion to non agricultural land, the agricultural activities should have stopped for 5 to 6 years. 5. Since there is only legal right to property &

The Shah Bano case Vs. The Repeal of Agri Laws: Lalit K Kaul

The Shah Bano case Vs. The Repeal of Agri Laws                                                                                                             Lalit K Kaul The Shah Bano case in which the SC decreed in favour of the lady was nullified through Parliament’s proceedings has been discussed, debated and politicized by every such individual/political party/intellectuals who had their own axe to grind and not that they had any sympathy with Ms. Shah Bano; those who genuinely sympathized with her didn’t go public about it. Of all the political parties it was the BJP leadership which highlighted the issue as if their hearts were bleeding for her, whenever they got a chance to do so within and without the Parliament. In that era the BJP couldn’t even dream of winning appreciable number of seats in the Parliament to lay claim for formation of the government and their attempt to vociferously talk in favour of the lady was about garnering

Modi ji :repealing agri laws undermines Parliament : Lalit K Kaul

Active Kaul Lalit K  is with  Jan Palla  and  51 others . Shared with Your friends and friends of anyone tagge Modi ji :repealing agri laws undermines Parliament Lalit K Kaul Mr PM you undermined the institution of Parliament for vote bank politics. You might have sounded very virtuous & statesman like in your address to the Nation, but we, the people of India, are not fools as you may think of us. Mr PM you & your party have been ridiculing Nehru ji & driving a wedge between him & Patel Sahab, but no matter how much you claim to be Incarnate of "Loh Purush" your gross incapabilities to ensure law & order in the Capital city of Delhi are there for all to see. Shaheen Bagh you couldn't clear because Delhi elections were in the offing. Thanks to Corona that the paid crowd disappeared even while Kejriwal wanted them to continue. You & your government brought unprecede

Freedom of Speech and Expression cannot be unconstrained in a civilized society? Lalit K Kaul

Freedom of Speech and Expression cannot be unconstrained in a civilized society? Lalit K Kaul In a democracy everybody has a right to express, we are told. The politicians say it too often because by publicly saying so they seek legitimacy for any kind of statement that they may make in public / Parliament/ State Assembly regardless of its after effects on the societal dynamics. The obnoxious law that affords them immunity cover is that they can make any statement devoid of sustainable evidence in the Parliament/Assembly as no law of the land can take cognizance of it and no citizen can file a complaint against them in any police station and/or courts. This limitless freedom of speech afforded to the politicians in secured premises and during election rallies is singular reason for degenerate political system that allows political indulgences which are not conducive to maintaining peace and harmony among the citizens in respective societies. Civilized Society:   The fact that

Religion & Evolution of Human Mind (of Man & Woman) are Disjoint Sets : Lalit K Kaul

Religion & Evolution of Human Mind (of Man & Woman) are Disjoint Sets    Lalit K Kaul The most corrupt talk passionately about honesty and those who live by falsehood swear by truthfulness, but those who endeavour to live life being truthful and honest do not give sermons on the virtues of honesty and truthfulness. The self proclaimed custodians of religion who delight in functioning as moral police and conscious keepers of their religious community have the kind of indulgences that even a highly depraved person would shudder to think of. No religion professes the need for custodians for its survival because then it would be void of any content and therefore any message to the humanity. The self assumed custodians of religions need to understand that any religious doctrine/philosophy comprises only broad guidelines insofar as human conduct in a given society is concerned and therefore no religion can come in the way of (or impede) evolution of human societies as they hav

Pakistan’s claim on J&K POK and Gilgit Baltistan is untenable: Lalit K Kaul

Pakistan’s claim on J&K POK and Gilgit Baltistan is untenable Lalit K Kaul The political bosses, establishment and the heads of madrasas in Pakistan have been selling the narrative on J&K/Kashmir created out of thin air (that is: occurring in or invented for fiction). Having managed a moth eaten geographical area for Pakistan, Jinnah turned his focus on how to ensure blisters inflicted body of emerging young Indian Nation, but did not succeed except for fomenting trouble in the erstwhile princely state of J&K - which had acceded to the Indian Union under the Government of India Act, 1935- by converting it in to a disputed territory between India and Pakistan. The backstabbing game: It is known historically that Louis Mountbatten persuaded Nehru ji to the J&K issue to the UN with an assurance that since India had a strong case, the UN was bound to give decision in her favour. Yet, the UK representative in the UN in performing the act of backstabbing/ betrayal -
