Pradhan
Mantri “Anpad” Hai
Lalit K Kaul
Some years ago the SC of India decreed that the minimum qualification
for an individual to contest Panchayat election should be SSC pass! This decree
betrayed how far removed the Court was from what’s is known as socio- political
dynamics in a village, district, state and the Indian Nation. Students are
taught languages, physical and biological sciences, history and geography in
schools up to class X. Do these subjects make a student aware of the real-world
social dynamics in a place of student’s residence, town, district and Nation?
No.
Learning social dynamics is an art that only a fertile and
sensitive mind is apt at and for that the requirement is that this individual
should know local language so that interaction with locals is possible. And, if
this individual intends to serve the people of his/her region then, he/she may
contest local body elections and that would mark entry into politics. What this
individual does thereafter, only Time tells; like, one could loot available
resources, exploit people by playing divisive politics or do service to them
for alleviating their difficulties as encountered in day-to-day life.
Having gained enough experience at local levels, to
increase the domain covering different states, the only requirement is that one
should learn to speak few languages in order to interact with people belonging
to different linguistic groups. Language is the most potent tool for
understanding social dynamics of different States in India and having attained
some stature in Indian politics, one may employ translators for interaction
with people.
Education Qualifications of much talked about
Politicians:
Smt. Indira Gandhi:
Indiraji was taught
by tutors at home and she didn't attend school regularly. She attended Modern
School in Delhi, St Cecilia's and St Mary's Christian convent schools in
Allahabad, the International School of Geneva, the Ecole Nouvelle in Bex, the
Pupils' Own School in Poona and Bombay, Vishwa Bharati in Shantiniketan. She
left Vishwa Bharti to attend her ailing mother in Europe and continued her
education at the University of Oxford. After the death of her mother, she
attended the Badminton School and then enrolled at Somerville College in 1937
to study History. When Germany
rapidly conquered Europe, Indira tried to return to England via Portugal but
was stranded there for two months. In early 1941, she entered England and then
returned to India without completing her studies at Oxford. Later, she was
awarded an honorary degree by the Oxford University.
Sri Rajiv Gandhi:
Rajiv Gandhi
failed end-of-year exams and left Trinity in 1965 without a degree. In
1966 he began a course in mechanical engineering at Imperial College London, but also failed to complete it.
Rajiv Gandhi
returned to India in 1966, the year his mother became prime minister. He went
to Delhi and became a member of the Flying Club, where he
trained as a pilot. In 1970, he was employed as a pilot by Indian Airlines.
Smt. Sonia
Gandhi:
She attained primary education attending the
local Catholic schools; one of her early teachers described her as "a
diligent little girl, [who] studied as much as was necessary"
Rahul Gandhi: B.A.,
M.Phil.
Educated at Rollins College, Florida and Trinity
College, Cambridge University, U.K.
Manish Sisodia: Diploma in Journalism.
Kejriwal’s “Anpad”:
Sri Kejriwal should have had courage to categorize Smt.
Indira Gandhi, Sri Rajiv Gandhi as Anpads and Smt. Sonia Gandhi as Less than
“Anpad”.
In short, Indiraji was Vishwa Bharati and Oxford drop out;
reasons notwithstanding. So, no degrees to flaunt, unlike Sri Kejriwal. Even
though Indiraji is deliberately remembered only for her imposition of Emergency,
yet she has to her credit some remarkable achievements and contributions to
Indian society like; abolition of Privy Purses, nationalization of Banks, creation
of the State of Punjab thus meeting with the long-standing demand of Punjabi
Sooba, creation of Geography in 1971 and many more. This was made possible by
her due to her being brought up in a politically charged environment both
within and without the family. She had a tremendous liaison with the masses of
India and no opposition leader measured up to the dust of her feet.
Sri Rajiv Gandhi was a disaster as he had no grooming in
the family as he was disinclined towards politics. Even while one could say
that he was not as “Anpad” as Indiraji because he had a certificate to flaunt
which had fetched him a job of Dakota pilot in Indian Airlines. Sri Rajiv
Gandhi is one example of how those unconnected with ground realities cannot succeed
in politics, much else be a successful PM of a Nation State.
The Less than “Anpad” Smt. Sonia Gandhi with only a primary
school education was catapulted to be the President of Congress(I) and for all
her hidden political ideology and its associated objects succeeded in surrendering
India’s sovereignty to China by signing
an Agreement with CCP while the enslaved PM looked the other way; innumerable
scams; stalling defence infrastructure across LAC, dismantling manufacturing
sector, neutralizing NIA and allowing frequent bomb blasts across the country
including Mumbai terror attack while the Master-Slave duo with their team were
busy discovering “Bhagwa Aatank” without any success in identifying “Bhagwa”
terrorists. So, here again the university certificates didn’t matter because Smt.
Sonia Gandhi had a political aim inimical to Indian interests and in her ten
years rule she achieved remarkable success in achieving her political object
through her slaves.
The highly qualified Sri Rahul Gandhi has the most dismal
record in comparison to “Anpads” insofar as his role as MP and Leader of the
Sonia Congress is concerned. His irrelevant and incoherent speeches concomitant
with his obsession for the word “Chor” shows that degrees don’t matter in
public life that deals with masses of India. He is responsible for the near
extinct of Sonia Congress as it has been relegated to less than a regional
party. For all his failures in political domain, he has excelled in misdemeanour
in public only to be reprimanded by the highest court of the land and like his
mother and brother-in-law is on bail from the courts due to corruption and
defamation cases against him. He is a man totally disconnected with the grass
root realities and, therefore, is incapable of making his mark in politics much
less challenge Modiji.
The Certificate Holders of AAP:
Steeped in corruption; serving jail terms; charged of being
king-pin in South Delhi riots and openly supporting anti-National agenda like
Shaheen Bagh and Khalistan protagonist; are some of the singular contributions
of certificate holders of AAP led by Sri Kejriwal. Masters at the art of using
uncultured language when cornered to the extent that their “cutter imandari” is
challenged by the ED IT and CBI; money laundering and other offenses- all
according to “cutter imandar” are politically motivated! Yes, they may be
politically motivated to the extent of deriving political advantage in upcoming
elections, yet the fact remains that there is no smoke without fire. Assuming
that all cases are fabricated then in that case courts should have given them
reprieve. The senior Advocates of AAP, like any other senior Advocate do know the art of submitting their plea in
a favourable Bench in HC and SC, but the problem lies in the fact that even the
favourably disposed bench cannot do much in absence of any legal loophole in
the prosecution case. The fact that the sessions court has denied them bail
because they are found to the king-pins; the breast beating about cases bring
politically motivated impresses none who is bestowed with minimum common-sense.
Sri Kejriwal with all his degrees to flaunt hasn’t kept any
portfolio with him as the CM of Delhi and that shows the “cutter imandar” man.
IRS to flaunt, but never worked in revenue department! The not “Anpad” CM of Delhi hasn’t summoned
courage to disown Khalistan Protagonists who openly declared that they
supported AAP election campaign in Punjab.
Fundamentally, a by product of a grand farcical movement
against corruption of Anna Hazarae much like the “sampoorn kranti” of
Jayprakash Narayan, nothing better could have been expected of him.
What the certificate holders like Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi
have to understand is that while both of them landed in politics riding
somebody’s shoulder and by dint of birth in a family, respectively; Modiji has
come up from grassroots and that’s what differentiates them from each other.
While Modiji educated himself by interacting with people across the country backed
by an ideology and that process provided him a mass connect, the certificate
holders while landing in politics were totally out of synch with the people of
India. And, that’s the huge unbridgeable span.
Insofar a I am concerned, Modiji is reincarnate of Indiraji
under hugely different socio economic and socio-political conditions in India.
And, the certificate holders are no match for him.
