 Muslim Leadership Polarizing Muslim Opinion against Indian Nation using Waqf Amendment Bill as a Pretext

Waqf Board Amendment Bill has been passed in the Lok Sabha. The voting pattern has clearly shown the divide between the two groups- one which is in favour of regulating its functioning within the purview of Indian Constitution and the other which is in favour of letting it be outside of it. The Waqf Board Amendment Bill 2013 was so draconian that it gave absolute powers to Waqf Board to the extent that the entire judiciary was kept out of its purview and the District Magistrate was made subservient to its dictates! And, therefore the said amendment by its very content was unconstitutional. Its sole object was to place entire land and other immovable properties in India at the disposal of Waqf Board so that any time any claim made by it would naturally have the stamp of final approval and which made the Chair of District Magistrate infructuous. It’s unfathomable as to why Waqf Board Amendment Bill 2013 was not challenged in the SC of India which would have led to the abrogation of the Law enacted due to passage of the said bill.

The Breast Beating by Indian Muslims’ Political and Religious Leadership:

The leadership got invigorated immediately after the Modi government expressed its intent to bring in Waqf Board Amendment Bill that would nullify the earlier amendment of 2013. Immediately public expressions like “Islam Khatrae Mein”, “interference in religious affairs of Muslims”, “secularism facing existential threat” and “government creating Muslim non-Muslim divide” rented the air. The political outfits which thrive on marginalization of Indian Constitution and non-Muslims’ concerns were to be their natural allies. All were shepherd by leaders like Asaddudin Owaisi and rose in one voice against the amendment sought to be brought in by “communalistic” Modi government.

Some quotable quotes of Asaddudin Owaisi are reproduced in the text below:

"It is my property, not given by anyone. You cannot snatch it away from me. Waqf is a form of worship for me,"; “You want to take this country back to the '80s and early '90s, it will be your responsibility,"; “will lead to social instability”; “Narendra Modi is firing bullets at our chests”, etcetera, etcetera. It can’t get more provocative than that.

Asaddudin Owaisi should know that waqf is no one’s property; waqf is not a form of worship, zakat is a religious obligation and it’s decentralized. He has made a huge revelation that Muslims across India played an active role, in socio-political upheavals and uprising against Indian State including genocide of Kashmiri Pandit Community in Kashmir which culminated into their exile from there, during 80s and 90s; and, has in fact threatened repetition of those events post passage of the said bill.

Muslims vouching for secularism and Asaddudin Owaisi championing it!! History, since more than 1700 years, is the witness to Muslim separatism and intolerance. This separatism and intolerance led to partitioning of Indian Subcontinent. Yet Muslims in India vouch for secularism because their numbers are not enough to impose Sharia across India and force non-Muslims to either convert or live like Dhimmis; Pakistan and Bangladesh have proved beyond debate how intolerant Muslims can be towards non-Muslims and in Kashmir the Muslims displayed astronomical levels of intolerance towards non-Muslims in a “democratic and secular” India and succeeded in making Kashmir a near 100% Muslim. All such statements by Asaddudin Owaisi are not meant to be for MPs of Lok Sabha; not for civilized section of the people of India, but a strong signal to Muslim goons to get ready for inflicting barbarism on non-Muslims in pockets wherever Muslims are in a majority. The series of barbaric events, since more than a year, created by Muslims are easily relatable to the provocative statements made publicly by Muslim religious and political leadership on the consequences of bringing in changes in the functioning of Waqf Boards across India.

The Ideology Invented by Indian Muslims’ Leadership that makes Waqf Board Sovereign:

All that Allah surveys through His Trustees belongs to Him. Since religion and politics are inseparable part of a Set (Islam), the Muslim Kings and Emperors are nothing but Trustees who rule as per the Command of Allah. So, wherever in the world Muslim rule was established, that land/geographical area became property of Allah and by deduction that of Muslims. Now rest assured that for all their exterior- social behaviour, political affiliations, claims of being Indian nationals- they incorrigibly believe that whole of India belongs to Muslims because Muslim Kings and Emperors ruled India for nearly one thousand years and since all rulers remained Trustees of Allah therefore Allah owns India!

Pre-Islamic India, Maratha and Sikh Empires and post independent India governed by its Constitution they don’t recognize. And they are emboldened to pronounce “Once a Waqf always a Waqf” because the Waqf Amendment Bill 2013 placed entire land mass of India into their hands. The result is that Waqf Board is the 3rd largest real estate owner trailing only Indian Railways and Defence. The Muslim Leadership make it bold to declare that the land which houses Indian Parliament and Rashtrapati Bhavan including the Prayagraj is Waqf property!

Long Term Political Strategy of Muslim Leadership Foiled:

They welcomed 2013 amendment as it enormously helped them to plan for their long-term strategy and which was to grab as much land and other immovable properties enabling them to declare India as land of Allah. The amendment 2025 foiled that and they declared that secularism was under threat. “Narendra Modi is firing bullets at our chests” implies that Modi government has declared war against their long term nefarious political designs of capturing India through Instrument of land grabbing. Their response to it is that they have warned Indian State of imminent social unrest. And it can’t be taken lightly as anti-CAA hooliganism is still fresh in the minds of Indian nationals.

Waqf Board has no Sanctity in Islam:

If it had then 57 Muslim countries would have institutionalized it. The fact that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where Islam was born doesn’t have Waqf Boards is proof enough that Islam doesn’t approve of it. No where in Al Quran, Sirat Rasoolallah and Sahi Bukhari Hadiith any mention is made of Waqf Boards. Repeatedly mention is made of zakat for helping the poor and needy in Al Quran and paying zakat is an individual act which one may do by paying into the coffers of the ruler and/or independently help the poor and the needy. And this is the beauty of Islam that it decentralizes an act of charity because if centralized then it leads to strengthening of corrupt ways.

Therefore the noise being made about interference in religious affairs of Muslims doesn’t hold any water. Strengthening of Waqf Boards, as mentioned in aforesaid lines, has a political motive and not any religious relevance.

Trust that turned out to be an Astronomical Blunder:

The Muslim Leadership and those political outfits who support them in their blatant anti-national act should know that the properties left behind by those Muslims who left for Pakistan after the partition in 1947 could have been easily taken over by the then GoI as such properties were categorized as enemy property. And all such properties could have been distributed to such non-Muslims from Pakistan who were made to flee their places of residence in a similar fashion as Kashmiri Pandit community was in 1990 and thereafter. Pakistan government took charge of Non-Muslims’ properties and allotted them to “Muhajirs” from India. Many religious places were either razed to ground or converted into hotels, madrasas and mosques.

The then GoI instead allowed the migrating Muslims to either hand over their properties to their family members who had stayed back or offer the properties for purposes of religious activities. Thus came into vogue Waqf Board Act 1954 which allowed Waqf Board to perform religious activities under the supervision of the then GoI and within the purview of the Indian Constitution which included jurisdiction of courts to adjudicate on Waqf related matters.

The marginalization of Congress in Indian Electoral politics and implementation of Mandal commission report gave rise to new brand of politics which was to be based on castes, sub-castes, religion and sects within a religion. This gave impetus to growth of regional outfits in the North of Vindhayas; in the South of Vindhayas there existed powerful regional outfits like DMK and AIADMK etcetera. Congress had already lost ground in southern part of India, during Smt. Indira Gandhi’s time and with her assassination decline of Congress hold in the North of Vindhayas gained momentum.

The rise of politics based on caste and religion had a common pivot. And it was antagonism towards “upper caste” Hindus. Manu Samruti became the baton to thrash “upper castes” with. BJP was declared “Manu-vadi” as was RSS and had to be kept at arms distance! Castes threw up their own leaders who formed their political outfits and each one including Congress wooed the Monolith- the Muslim vote bank- to gain political power to rule a state or through coalition government at Centre.

The appeasement of Muslims was to be the natural outcome of this degenerate political system. So, Sri P V Narasimha Rao’s government came up with Waqf Amendment Bill 1995 and Maintenance of Religious Places Act, 42 of 1991. The latter Act became political compulsion for the Congress as it had completely lost Muslim vote bank post demolition of Babri structure. The Manmohan Singh government beleaguered by charges of scams, in a desperate move to win 2014 elections, brought in Waqf Amendment Bill 2013. And, that was to be the final nail in the coffin of “democratic and secular” India. As it promoted land Jihad unabashedly because Waqf Boards had gone beyond the purview of Indian Constitution and other institutions that were to uphold democratic and secular dispensation. In retrospect one may say that Nehruji’s government initiative to bring in Waqf Board Act 1954 was an Astronomical Blunder, but the leaders of those times couldn’t have imagined that political system in India would degenerate to the extent where it would pose threat to India’s integrity and sovereignty.

Modiji’s Government Initiative:

Its fundamental object is to thwart such political and religious forces whose long-term political object is to transform India from being a democratic and secular Nation State to a theocratic one in which irrationality shall dominate to navigate India into dark ages. This is the religio-political object of those who remain in pursuit of “Life Hereafter”.

If India has to survive as a civilized Nation for time eternal then the amendment 2025 is only the first step in realizing that object. Waqf Board Act 1954 need to be repealed so that this concept of Waqf is effaced. All properties illegally transferred to Waqf need to be recovered either by bulldozer action or judicial process. Imagine a mosque in High Court compound and Muslims claiming it to be Waqf property! The SC of India had to intervene to demolish the mosque. In an eight-lane highway, overnight they raise a structure, cover it with green cloth and call it a mazar and therefore road becomes Waqf property!

How I miss Dr B R Ambedkar:

The one who had thoroughly understood Islam and Muslim mind-set and wanted all Muslims to migrate to Pakistan. He was not alone in that conviction but likes of Lala Lajpat Rai supported him. Those who brag about Bhim-Meem alliance should read Dr B R Ambedkar. In fact the RSS which has been propagating “common DNA” should read Dr B R Ambedkar; the BJP which has raised Dr B R Ambedkar to the stature of a deity should read him- for sure a Hindu can’t defy his/her deity!

An Anecdote:

This European found a baby crocodile in a very bad shape on the bank of a river; looked like its days were numbered unless it was treated by a vet. He took it to a vet and got it treated till it fully recovered. Thereafter he brought it home and looked after it fulfilling its daily food requirements and like this year’s rolled by and it grew to its full size. Its nurturing continued until one day this European realized that while the crocodile had been playful with him yet it was not consuming any food. So, he called the same vet home for medical examination of crocodile. The vet after examining it said, “ it’s doing good. It’s not eating because it’s sizing you up to devour you one day. Better call wild life staff and get rid of it”!
