 Stone Pelting at Hindu Religious Processions- Cultural Depravity or Religious Dictate

Stone pelting on Hindu religious processions have been reported from Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi; the media is full of such reports. One sees a deafening silence on such barbaric acts from the “Jinnah in the Making” politicians like Kejriwal, Mamta, Sonia Congress et al; no condemnation from them. Of course the Moulvis/Maulanas/Muftis are not supposed to condemn such acts on the part of the “Believers”; the leading “Jinnah in the Making” politician Asaddudin Owaisi has not only desisted from condemning such acts, but has questioned Hindus on their right to take out a procession!

The swords brandishing “Believers” raising frenzy of “Allah O Akbar” (does anybody recall Kashmir!!) go on the rampage and initiate riots in Delhi while others amongst them continued to rain stones. Not seen Hindus pelting stones at Muharram procession or vandalizing a Mosque. Is this remarkable difference in attitude towards other faiths a cultural attribute and/or have to do with religious philosophy too?

The Theorem:

To vandalize idolaters’ temples and to smash idols is the basis of Islam as set out by Prophet Muhammad in theory and in practice. It’s another important characteristics is intolerance to followers of other faiths – the “Non- Believers”. As an example, what Taliban did to Bamiyan Buddha carvings was in tune with the tenets of Prophet’s religion.

Despite Quraysh’s repeated pleadings with Abu Talib to tell “Mohammad” that he should stop insulting their ancestors by ridiculing the Gods they worship and let him have his God and they their Gods; but to no avail.

Page35: Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. al-Haarith al-Tamimi told me that Abu Salih' al-Samman told him that he heard Abu Hurayra say: I heard the apostle of God saying to Aktham b. al-Jaun al-Khuza'i, 'O Aktham I saw 'Amr b. Luhayy b. Qam'a b. Khindif dragging his intestines in hell, and never did I see two men so much alike as you and he!' 'Will this resemblance injure me?' asked Aktham. 'No,' said the apostle, for you are a believer and he is an infidel. He was the first to change the religion of Ishmael, to set up Idols, and institute the custom of the bahira sa'iba wasiila and hami.

Page 118: When the apostle openly displayed Islam as God ordered him his people did not withdraw or turn against him, so far as I have heard, until he spoke disparagingly of their gods.

 Page 119: They said, ‘o Abu Talib, your nephew has cursed our gods, insulted our religion mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error; either you must stop him or you must let us get at him, for you yourself are in the same position as we are in opposition to him and we will rid you of him.' He gave them a conciliatory reply and a soft answer and they went away.

 Page 133: A traditionist told me from Sa'id b. Jubayr and from 'Ikrima, freedman of 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas, that the leading men of every clan of Quraysh …(clan names).. decided to send for Muhammad and to negotiate and argue with him so that they could not be held to blame on his account in the future. …. When he came and sat down with them, they explained that they had sent for him in order that they could talk together. No Arab had ever treated his tribe as Muhammad had treated them, and they repeated the charges which have been mentioned on several occasions.

Page 162: Abu Jahl met the apostle, so I have heard, and said to him ,‘By God, Muhammad, you will either stop cursing our gods or we will curse the God you serve.'

Page 550: The apostle had instructed his commanders when they entered Mecca only to fight those who resisted them, except a small number who were to be killed even if they were found beneath the curtains of the Ka'ba. Among them was 'Abdullah b. Sa'd, brother of the B. 'Amir b. Lu'ayy. The reason he ordered him to be killed was that he had been a Muslim and used to write down revelation; then he apostatized and returned to Quraysh and fled to 'Uthman b. 'Affan whose foster-brother he was; The latter hid him until he brought him to the apostle after the situation in Mecca was tranquil, and asked that he might be granted immunity. They allege that the apostle remained silent for a long time till finally he said yes. When ’Uthman had left he said to his companions who were sitting around him, 'I kept silent so that one of you might get up and strike off his head!' One of the Ansar said, 'Then why didn't you give me a sign, O apostle of God I’. He answered that a prophet does not kill by pointing.

Page 552: [1.1. from 'Abdullah b. Abu Bakr from 'Ali b. 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas: The apostle entered Mecca on the day of the conquest and it contained 360 idols which Iblis' had strengthened with lead. The apostle was standing by them with a stick in his hand, saying, 'The truth has come and falsehood has passed away; verily falsehood is sure to pass away' (Sura '7. 82). Then he pointed at them with his stick and they collapsed on their backs one after the other. When the apostle prayed the noon prayer on the day of the conquest he ordered that all the idols which were round the Ka'ba should be collected and burned with fire and broken up.

The above quoted text is sufficient enough to show basic intolerance towards other faiths and no hesitation to behead a person if he/she didn’t fall in line to obey the Prophet. Even the idol breaking custom was introduced by Prophet Muhammad. So, the theorem is that other faiths are to be ridiculed by whatever means one can.

 The Corollary to the Theorem:

 If the idols which symbolize Gods of the “Non- Believers” were to be smashed by the dictate of “Allah”, stoning of these “Kafirs” was only the corollary to the theorem – the basis of Islam. Since religious processions carried idols therefore the followers had to be stoned for the idols to break. The “Believers” seem to be more zealously storing stones in their backyards and on their terraces than trying to earn a decent livelihood for their respective families, because life herein after is much more juicy and lustful than it ever could be on this Earth.

The stoning culture hit its zenith when the Corona workers were stoned from roof tops because the learned Moulvis/Muftis like Tariq Jameel had decreed that the killer virus had been let loose by Allah to avenge the infidels for their Kufaar! Proudly the Moulvis pronounced from the mosques that the Corona virus won’t enter mosques, so the “Momeens” should seek shelter in there. The half “Momeens” like Kejri and Mamta, et al also, in the beginning, defied the central government regulations regarding restricting the spread of Corona virus.

 To pelt stones on non Muslim religious procession in the month of Ramadan is a sure shot ticket to Jannat and an exciting rendezvous with 72 Hoors, on the Day of Qayamat for, if one could be ordered to behead the other even if the victim was at Kaaba, what significance would Ramadan have? One should hear the way Maulvi Tariq Jameel describes the seductive beauty of the Hoors; the expressions on his face betray his lust for those Hoors. So, Hoors are the temptation and therefore no wonder one found the organisations like ISIS, Al Qaeda, LET, HM, et al going on a killing spree during Ramadan.

 Conclusion:

 Those who engage themselves in idol breaking and vandalizing temples and stoning the religious processions of Hindus are not anti social elements, but are motivated by their faith. The Madrasas day in and day out do their religious duty to motivate the “Momeens” to carry further the dictates of their Prophet (PBUH) and keep ever in the path of Allah.
