From the tweets of some journalists I am informed that Budgam Pandits have been put under house arrest & even their children are disallowed from going to schools. 

Looks like a simple protest by them has put them at par with Hurriyat & PAGD! Are they being labeled as hybrid of "separatists" & " mainstream"? 

That a small number of protesters can shake the foundations of a State culminating into their house arrest; can't dream of a bigger recognition for the power of the Pandits' protests. It's now beyond debate that an essentially spineless State unable to reason out with the protesters for sorting out their issues with them have resorted to snatching from them their fundamental right to protest.

It wouldn't be surprising if their house arrests are declared to have been done for their security against the "terrorists"! In any case, what happened to the BJP mantra: " Loktantr mein sab jayaz hai" thus sanctifying the seditious acts of many politicians. Are Pandits  not a part of that "Loktantr" ?

Also read that "wolves" PAGD have suddenly become sympathetic to "lambs" - the Pandits! The Budgam Pandits should beware of them because they played a very significant role in engineering Pandits exodus from the Valley. Infact, the Pandits need to be equidistant from all political outfits, and fight for their rights on their own strength. 

PAGD is marginalized & aims to capture political space by pretending to sympathize with Pandits. The same people will oppose the idea of reserving 2 assembly constituencies fir Pandits- Rainawari & Habbakadal.Let Budgam Pandits not give them that opportunity.

Whatever may greet us - Pandits- in future that apart; my salute to Budgam Pandits & 3 Cheers to them for their grit and conviction.
