Amritpal Singh Event: Lalit k kaul
Amritpal Singh Outsmarted them all Or
Played Out a Pre-planned Script!
Lalit k kaul
“Carvaan
gujar gaya Gubaar dekhtae rahae” is how I would summarize the whole chase and
run drama as it unfolded in Punjab, but Aaj Tak TV channel describes it as “Amritpal
nikal gaya, Lakir peet-tae rahae”. I would prefer going along with Aaj Tak and
drop my summarizing of the event.
Very much
like AAP, the Punjab CM was bragging about the “success” his government had
achieved in maintaining law and order by arresting dozens of Amritpal associates!
Was
Khalistani Elements coming live again unexpected?
No, it was
not; because from the day 1 of AAP having made entry into Punjab there were
reports of it connecting with Khalistan activists and one of the closest
associate of Sri Arvind Kejriwal is on record having stated it. Post AAP's win
in Punjab Assembly elections, the Khalistan activists outside India claimed
that the party has their support. Sri Kejriwal denied neither.
Ready-made
Script for a Block-Buster Reel Stuff:
The Indian
TV channels are busy telecasting how Sri Amritpal Singh escaped the police “naka-bandi”
by changing his get-up and cars and finally rode away royally on a motorbike driven
by his friend while he was holding a bag. The best part of the script is that
nowhere police is shown chasing him. The brilliant part of it is that the TV
audience is made to believe that roads in Punjab are laced with CCTVs along
their respective spans! Otherwise, how does one capture him getting down from Brezza
and getting on to a motorcycle! Commonsense would suggest that such videos that
are being shown have been made public by Amritpal associates who planned the
escape.
The Escape:
What’s
being marketed is that Amritpal made his escape through crowded streets; well,
the commonsense Q is: since the police was chasing him what inhibited their
chase through such streets? Internet was shut down, but Amritpal made his
escape good by using walkie-talkie! Had police force switched off their
walkie-talkie sets! He is supposed to have driven through many check posts in
disguise as per news channels, if factual then it casts aspersions on the
capability of the police to apprehend a wanted accused.
And, if
police were not chasing him then how does police know that he escaped through
crowded streets? CCTV, I guess! Amazing that wherever Amritpal did an event
CCTV was available!
The
Confusion and the Politics:
Amritpal’s
advocate pleads before Punjab and Haryana High Court that since the accused has
been arrested, he be produced in the court as he fears that under the cover of
escape theory his client’s life may be under threat.
The
Congress in Punjab is campaigning that “innocents” have been arrested while
Amritpal has made his escape good.
The SAD has
said that it will fund court expenses of all arrested people.
So, while
the police says that he escaped, his advocate demands that he be produced in
the court as he has been arrested- thus the Confusion has been created among
the people and which may have very undesirable repercussions in near or distant
future . The political parties are playing their roles in stoking the flames
further. But then, I am told “Loktantr mein sab jayaz hai”.
Role of
State & Center:
The media
channels inform us that before Operation Amritpal was launched, the CM of
Punjab and the HM of India had jointly chalked it out. And, all that has
resulted in creating a confusion about his co-ordinates as on date.
The bigger
question is: what were state and central agencies doing while Amritpal was
planning an armed attack on the PS holding Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the front?
In our
country the state/ central agencies get activated only after a command is
issued by the powers that be and this is true for all governments backed by
their respective political outfits. So, ED CBI and IT start chasing the
suspects only after the Nation has been robbed of billions of Rupees and that
too if some political advantage can be derived out of it. Likewise, the Police
is totally under the thumb of the powers that be and therefore acts only as per
the orders. This is very evident in UP where lawlessness prevailed until
Yogiji’s government took charge to restore law and order. The Police was same!!
The near elimination of terrorism on our country in Modiji’s regime is another
testimony to the Truth as stated above; the NIA which lay dormant under UPA
rule became activated to discharge its duties and that saw terrorism on the
decline.
The attack
on PS can’t happen unless the state and central agencies look the other way as
per orders. Whether Amritpal Singh is in custody of police or has escaped, only
time shall tell, but not before the issue has been thoroughly politicized and
society polarized; yet the imperative for both the state and central
governments is to interrogate the agencies for their dereliction of duties that
enabled the attack on the PS, if, indeed, they are independent to discharge
their duties.
