Tall
claims about having restored normalcy in J&K have come to nought; the never-ending
orchestra played out by the electronic, digital and print media eulogizing the “grand
success” of “Kashmir Policy” as implemented by Modi-Shah duo has gone silent; as
it’s back to Square One in the UT of J&K as far as anti-India sentiment is concerned.
The
anti-India and pro-Pak political forces have once again displayed their destructive
might immediately after such forces were handed over a resounding victory in
the just concluded LS elections in the Valley.
They
did Rajouri, Reasi, Doda, Baramullah and Sopore; not to forget the stern
warning handed over to Kashmiri Pandits by setting ablaze centuries old Shiv
temple in Gulmarg.
The
doctrine of “defeating terrorism by tourism” responded to by killing two
terrorists in Kashmir!
And,
much more to come! When? Post Assembly elections which are to be conducted in
the month of October in the UT of J&K.
Until
then the army, the paramilitary forces including J&K police shall be kept
busy with combing operations in the forests to clear the “hideouts” of
“Pakistani terrorists” which would have been abandoned by those who successfully
conducted just concluded serial terrorist attacks! While “flushing operations” would
continue, the “Pak terrorists” would be strategizing their next attacks in
their new “hideouts”, while waiting for an opportune moment to strike at will.
Bilateralism
only for International Affairs:
India
has rightly rejected multilateralism for resolution of the issues between her
and Pakistan-or, for that matter between her and any other country- that have
been essentially created by the latter. But, in tackling anti-India political
forces in J&K India brings in Pakistan factor! What’s essentially between
India and secessionist forces in J&K and who are ideologically motivated by
crass communalism born out of hatred and intolerance towards non-Muslims and nurtured
through feed of indoctrination, where is the need for bringing in Pakistan!
Mr.
Home Minister It’s not about Pak-China designs against India, it’s about
politics of local Kashmiri Muslims’ political and religious leadership that invites
interference from outside. The cancer is within.
The
Grand Tamasha/Circus:
Holding
of G20 sessions in Kashmir; getting UAE to invest in Kashmir; promoting tourism
and, in particular, religious tourism under monumental security cover; and,
last but not the least, exhibiting physical exercises in the name of Yog, all
these are a part of circus that may impress and convince an observer- a rank
outsider like, e.g., European delegation- that, indeed, peace has been achieved
and that the locals(comprising predominantly Muslims) are wholeheartedly
participating in the growth related developmental activities; but neither the
insiders who, in the recently concluded LS elections in Kashmir, categorically demonstrated
where their political sympathies lay and nor the Kashmiri Pandits- the victims
of Genocide.
The
Ministry of Home should know that marketing Brand Kashmir in the world through
advertisements like G20, UAE investments, growth in tourism and physical
exercises in the name of Yog doesn’t address to the cancer that afflicts
Kashmir politics.
The
Weak Narrative:
Not
all Muslims are terrorists; not all are anti-India! Yes indeed. But this is an
escapist’s argument. The Escapist who refuses to face Reality and finds escape
routes.
Not
all participated in Indian Independence movement. Out of the then population-estimates
range from 37 to 42 crores- only a few lacs actively participated! Does that
deny existence of our freedom movement? Has any historian recorded that it
wasn’t any movement against British colonialism! Did British see it that way!
The
Modi-Shah can’t be so naive as not to accept inside closed doors that there is
this political movement led by Kashmiri Muslim political and religious
leadership which challenges the accession of the then princely state of J&K
with Indian Dominion. And, that it’s alive and kicking as Kashmir LS election
results clearly reasserted.
Home
Minister’s Path Breaking Assessment of J&K Situation!
Says
the Home Minister,” Terror in J&K reduced to Proxy war”!
It’s
like saying that Ma Ganga flows from Bay of Bengal to Gangotri!
His
statement puts a big ? on his set of advisers and Home Ministry officials. It
also shows how badly misplaced is his perception of the socio-political
dynamics in Kashmir since mid 70s.
May
someone inform the Home Minister that terrorism was the instrument used in
Proxy war to bleed India so profusely that she is forced to give up her
legitimate claim to J&K as her integral part.
Proxy
war had another equally important aim and that was ethnic cleansing to ensure
that Kashmir became exclusively Muslim in character. So, Genocide was committed
on Kashmiri Pandit Community and which compelled them to flee their land of
birth and heritage. Thus, this object was fully achieved.
Proxy
war became possible because the local Kashmiri Muslims’ political and religious
leadership had indoctrinated a sizeable number of Muslims -young and old- under
the banner of Islam. History around the world is the witness to the truth that
Muslims are easy to organize into a passionate and fanatic force only under the
banner of their religion.
This
is akin to a medical case wherein diagnosis has gone terribly wrong, but the
doctor claims that the patient is on the path to recovery!
Surgical
Strikes: Need of the Hour!
To
be conducted within or without? The cancer is within and therefore it has to be
treated internally. While carrying out surgical strikes on the “hideouts in POK”
may earn the Modi-Shah duo some brownie points and help increase TRP of
electronic media astronomically, it’s not going to cure the disease that Muslim
politics led by its political and religious leaders has given birth to and
nurtured so zealously just to grind their respective political axes. Their
politics has only traumatized Kashmiri society and forced Kashmiri Pandits into
exile, post their Genocide.
The
local Muslims’ leadership has to be taken head on and confronted with their narratives
and election speeches that fuel anti-India Pro-Pak emotions among the masses.
They
be held responsible for making grounds in Kashmir fertile for eruption of
insurgency in Kashmir and for this to gain formidable strength seek support of
other Muslim countries for providing financial and infrastructural support.
They
are culpable to be tried under treason and to be brought to justice under
appropriate laws of the land.
The
question is: Do Modi-Shah duo have the political will and courage of conviction
to bring anti-National to book?
Doesn’t
look like! Yet only time will tell.
